Open Enrollment Season: Make Sure You’re Covered
If you prefer Jefferson Healthcare for most of your healthcare needs, make sure to choose an insurance plan that includes Jefferson Healthcare as an in-network provider for covered services.
Options if you want to receive care at Jefferson Healthcare:
- Switch to an accepted plan during your insurance company’s OPEN ENROLLMENT period.
- Ask you insurance company if you can change from an HMO to a PPO plan, which may provide out-of-network coverage.
- Request an exception from your insurance provider to allow care at Jefferson Healthcare if you cannot find an in-network provider nearby.
