Community Benefit Report highlights local hospital district’s commitment to community health and care access.
Jefferson Healthcare has released its 2026 Community Benefit Report, offering a transparent look at how the hospital district served East Jefferson County throughout 2025 and into early 2026. The report, available now on the Jefferson Healthcare website, details the measurable impact of the hospital’s work and the deep connection between the organization and the communities it serves.
In 2025 alone, Jefferson Healthcare:
“Our focus has been to understand what the healthcare needs of our community are — and then develop them in a high-quality, patient-centered way,” said Jefferson Healthcare CEO Mike Glenn. “It means fewer trips to Silverdale and Seattle for residents of Port Townsend and South County to seek specialty healthcare.”
Since the hospital’s last community benefit report, Jefferson Healthcare earned national recognition for obstetrics and outpatient experience and unveiled its new mobile clinic, which will primarily serve communities in South Jefferson County. The hospital also welcomed its first patients to a new radiation oncology clinic and a state-of-the art surgery facility.
As a public hospital district, Jefferson Healthcare is governed by five elected commissioners. The report outlines how the hospital continues to expand access to high-quality care while upholding its mission to serve everyone in East Jefferson County.
