The Jefferson Healthcare Wellness Center is dedicated to illness prevention through education, empowerment, and movement. Our classes are presented by local community instructors and trained professionals who also work in our Rehabilitation Department. All welcome! No referral is necessary to attend Wellness Center classes.

Class Descriptions
Tai Ji Quan, Moving for Better Balance, Beginner Series
Evidence-based fall prevention program designed for older adults at risk of falling and people with balance disorders. Tuesdays and Thursdays. $120 for 24 class. Scholarships are available. Check the Punchpass website for times and start dates.
Tai Ji Quan, Moving for Better Balance, Part 2 Series
A continuation of the beginner class. Tuesdays and Thursdays. $120 for 24 class. Scholarships are available. Check the Punchpass website for times and start dates.
Circuit Lite!
Gentle interval training. One-hour sessions utilizing cardio equipment and weights to improve strength and balance, along with independent stretching at your own intensity. Suitable for anyone able to move independently. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8:00 am, 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, or 1:45 pm. $5 per class. Check the Punchpass website for available space.
Low Impact Fitness
Combines gentle movement, stretching, strengthening, and balance. Suitable for anyone able to move independently. Chairs are available. Monday and Wednesday at 8:00 am. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3:00 pm. $5 per class. Check the Punchpass website for availability.
The PWR! of Movement
An exercise class for people with Parkinson’s and other movement disorders. Instructor Becky Steffens, DPT, is PWR!-certified. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Level 2 is from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, and Level 1 is from 2:30 to 3:30 pm. $5 per class. Check the Punchpass website for availability.
