Quality Care Anywhere
Primary Care virtual visits allow us to provide safe, effective, and convenient care through common technologies such as smartphones, tablets and laptops.
Virtual visit instructions
We want virtual visits to be as smooth as possible because we’re happy to offer a safe alternative that lets our patients stay home when needed. We’ll continue to look for ways to improve our virtual visits. There are a few simple steps you can follow to make your experience successful.
MyChart Users:
- Download the Zoom Workplace app to your device ahead of time so everything runs smoothly.
- Log in to your MyChart account and click the ‘Join Video Visit’ button from the home screen.
- Zoom will open and place you in a ‘virtual waiting room.’
- Alternative: On the day of your appointment, you’ll receive an email from ‘donotreplymychart.’ Simply click ‘Join Video Visit’ in the email to connect without logging into MyChart.

Getting Ready for Your Zoom Appointment (Non MyChart Users):
- Download the Zoom Workplace app to your device ahead of time.
- You’ll receive an email from ‘donotreplymychart’ the day of your appointment.
- In that email, click the link that says ‘here’ to make sure your connection works.
- Zoom will open and place you in a ‘virtual waiting room.’
- If you see an error, try clearing your browser’s cache. If that doesn’t fix it, call your clinic for help.
- If the problem still isn’t solved, your provider will call you when it’s time and give you the meeting ID and passcode so you can join.

Post-Appointment Possibilities
In some cases, the virtual visit may prompt the provider to recommend an in-office appointment if you describe symptoms or concerns that can only be fully assessed in person. Your provider may also recommend additional imaging or lab tests, which may require an in-person visit.
