Biography
Sara is an avid runner and enjoys the outdoors.
Philosophy
Sara likes engaging with patients in their own health care. The time she spends with them is brief, but if they understand what to expect, how to manage it, accept reassurance, or manage more serious concerns, she believes that is valuable. Additionally, she believes health care can seem very team-oriented, she likes patients to feel they have more than one advocate.
She also enjoys efficiency and for simple issues, believes it’s terrific to get someone back to work or family or life without long wait times or inconvenience.
Sara chose medicine for a myriad of reasons: curiosity about the human body, its physiology, and its complexity are endlessly fascinating to her. But, even more so – she believes the medical system can be daunting and confusing and patients can feel alone. It is her personal commitment to make another’s experience better even in the face of illness, injury, or loss.
