Biography

In 2004, Dr. Butterfield came to Port Townsend to practice Internal Medicine and Pediatrics with Jefferson Medical & Pediatric Group and has been with Jefferson Healthcare ever since.

Dr. Butterfield is the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Group at Jefferson Healthcare.  He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  He is a recipient of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation “Gold Doc Award.”  This award gives patients an opportunity to pay tribute to physicians who demonstrate exemplary sensitivity and compassion, as well as clinical excellence, in the care of patients and their families.

In addition to spending time with his family and friends in Port Townsend, Dr. Butterfield enjoys hiking and is an avid sports fan.
