Biography

Dr. Peterman grew up in the San Juan Islands and spent ten summers working with her family as a commercial fisherman in SE Alaska.  She has traveled to all of the continents except Antarctica!  She enjoys hiking, soccer, travel, sailing, biking and spending time with friends and family!

Philosophy

Dr. Peterman works hard to help every patient and their family through their healthcare encounter. She treats each patient as an individual, taking into account their unique medical history and personal preferences.  She emphasizes shared decision making to empower each patient to achieve their healthiest possible self.

Dr. Peterman enjoys working with people of all ages and all backgrounds to achieve better health.  She enjoys taking a minimally invasive approach whenever possible to help patients return to their normal lifestyle as soon as possible.
