Biography

Kari has practiced as an Nurse Practitioner in Cheyenne, WY and Greely, CO. She moved to Port Townsend in early 2018.

Philosophy

Kari prides herself on partnering with patients regarding their care. At the end of the day, the plan has to be what is best for them as individuals and helps them achieve their own personal health goals. Her nursing background in emergency medicine prepared her well to be a primary care provider. In the emergency department she cared for patients of all ages and backgrounds; likewise, she saw a variety of acute and chronic illnesses every day. Additionally, her 6 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in primary care has provided the opportunity to care for individuals and their family members longitudinally.

Hobbies

She enjoys camping, hiking, fly fishing, snowshoeing, traveling, cooking and spending time with family.
