A message for Jefferson Healthcare oncology patients:
We are writing to share some important updates about telehealth visits for oncology patients.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, federal rules allowed you to meet with your provider from home through telehealth. These rules will change on September 30, 2025. This means starting October 1, your telehealth appointments will take place on-location at Jefferson Healthcare.
Please note: In many cases, your provider will not be in the room with you. Instead, you will meet with your oncology provider by secure video connection from one of our clinics.
What to Expect
Checking in: On the day of your appointment, please arrive at Jefferson Healthcare’s main entrance at 834 Sheridan Street. Use the Sheridan Elevators to go to the third floor and check in at the Oncology Clinic desk.
Your appointment: A medical assistant will escort you to a private exam room, set up the secure video connection with your doctor, and remain available to assist you throughout your visit.
