Jefferson Healthcare welcomes six new providers in November and December, expanding access to high-quality care across multiple specialties including dentistry, primary care, and palliative care.
“We are so pleased six new talented providers are joining us at Jefferson Healthcare,” said Mike Glenn, Chief Executive Officer. “We pride ourselves in attracting and retaining top talent, and we’re excited to welcome these skilled providers to the communities we serve.”
Tony Yan, DDS — Dental Clinic (Start date: November 10, 2025)
Dr. Tony Yan joins Jefferson Healthcare’s Dental Clinic, bringing a passion for dentistry as a blend of art and science.
“Dentistry is an immensely gratifying surgical specialty that often allows me to provide immediate pain relief as well as esthetic and functional improvements to my patients. I love that it is a perfect blend of art and science,” Dr. Yan said. He emphasizes respectful, compassionate, evidence-based care and values involving patients directly in their treatment plans.
Joshua Monson, MD — Watership Primary Care (Start date: November 10, 2025)
Inspired by his grandmother, who was a nurse, Dr. Joshua Monson joins the Watership Clinic’s Primary Care team.
Monson says that his grandmother’s “compassion and drive to serve others helped serve as the foundation for my own career goals.” Dr. Monson takes a patient-centered approach to medicine, emphasizing shared decision-making and long-term relationships with the people he serves.
Lindsay Nelson, FNP-C — Palliative Care (Start date: November 24, 2025)
Lindsay Nelson joins Jefferson Healthcare’s Palliative Care team, where she will support patients and families living with serious illness through whole-person, relationship-centered care.
“It is a privilege to get to know people who trust me with their care,” she said. “To me, palliative care means coming to know people on a deeper human level, recognizing their unique needs and working together to support their goals and preferences.”
Lauren Olsen, MD — Watership Primary Care (Start date: November 24, 2025)
Dr. Lauren Olsen is a family medicine physician with training in full-spectrum primary care, including pediatrics, office procedures, inpatient hospital medicine and addiction treatment. She also brings extensive leadership experience with two years as chief resident, establishing a multi-disciplinary Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) program and working as Medical Director of Correctional Healthcare. Dr. Olsen is “passionate about global health, addiction medicine, and advocating for marginalized populations, including those within the LGBTQIA+ community and criminal justice system.”
Katie Fuentes, PA-C — Sheridan Primary Care (Start date: December 8, 2025)
Katie Fuentes joins the Sheridan Clinic’s Primary Care team. She chose a career in medicine because it blends science, human connection, and long-term relationships.
“I find medicine the perfect intersection of science and humanity,” she said. “I want my patients to always feel that I take the time to listen fully, treat them with dignity, and support their autonomy.”
