Expanding Care in Port Ludlow

Jefferson Healthcare announces the planned expansion of the Port Ludlow Clinic. The new building will bring more specialty care and advanced diagnostic services to Port Ludlow and surrounding communities.

Jefferson Healthcare has always been dedicated to providing top-quality care close to home for East Jefferson County. We’re now in the early stages of expanding our Port Ludlow clinic, taking an important step toward expanding access to healthcare for the southern part of Jefferson County.

The newly purchased building, formerly the Kitsap Bank location just across the street from Jefferson Healthcare’s existing clinic and pharmacy, will allow the organization to increase the number of services available in Port Ludlow and better meet the needs of the communities we serve.

What Services Will Be Offered?

Today, the Port Ludlow clinic and pharmacy provides primary care and family medicine services, including blood draws for patients with an appointment and an order from a physician.

The new building is designed to bring more specialty care and advanced diagnostic services to Port Ludlow — care that often requires residents to travel outside the area today.

“The goal is to provide local access to specialty services, including Dermatology,” said Jefferson Healthcare Chief Operating Officer Jake Davidson. “We also plan to bring imaging services to the community, including MRI.”

While Dermatology and imaging services are confirmed, Jefferson Healthcare is still working with providers to determine which additional specialties will be offered. This careful planning helps ensure that new services are sustainable and aligned with the needs of local patients.

When Will the Building Open?

Planning for the new facility is underway, and Jefferson Healthcare is moving thoughtfully through the design, permitting, and construction process.

“We are still in the early planning stages, but we are hopeful that we will be able to open some — if not all — of the building in 2027,” Davidson said. “We’re aiming to complete design in the next few months and then determine when construction and permitting can begin.”

As plans progress, Jefferson Healthcare will continue to share updates with the Port Ludlow community.
