PORT TOWNSEND, Wash., March 4, 2021 – Jefferson Healthcare was pleased to hear the governor’s announcement to move school employees and childcare providers up on the vaccine prioritization list. We are excited to assist in the vaccination efforts for this very important part of our Jefferson County community.
Jefferson County K-12 school employees and licensed childcare providers are encouraged to register for appointment notification through the “When is it my turn?” link on the Jefferson Healthcare website. Registration will allow us to email an appointment scheduling link once we receive confirmation of vaccine allotment from the state. Please use the Washington State Phase Finder tool to determine eligibility and bring eligibility verification to vaccination appointment.
In addition, Jefferson County residents 50 years old and older who live in a multi-generational households are also encouraged to register for notification through the “When is it my turn?” link. Eligibility is determined through the Washington State Phase Finder tool and verification will be required at the vaccination appointment. Jefferson County 1A individuals may use the same steps outlined to receive vaccine notification.
Jefferson Healthcare is very engaged in vaccinating the community and committed to expanding our efforts as the vaccine supply line continues to open. We will continue to prioritize our oldest and frailest community members and incorporate additional tiers as we move forward. To date, we have administered 9,669 total doses of vaccines and provided 6,202 first doses and 3,467 second doses. These numbers include phase 1A and phase 1B, 67 years old and older who are Jefferson County residents or who have a Jefferson Healthcare primary care provider, as well as our medically vulnerable patients in Home Health, Oncology, and Primary Care.
