In response to growing concerns about COVID-19 Jefferson Healthcare launched a dedicated 360.344.3094 to answer specific questions regarding the virus and address exposure concerns. Incoming calls are answered to determine initial individual questions and concerns, nurses will follow up within 24-48 hours to perform detailed evaluation. If individual meets requirements for COVID-19 testing the nurse will schedule an appointment at our dedicated COVID-19/Respiratory Evaluation Station, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
The COVID-19/Respiratory Evaluation Station is by appointment only through the Nurse Consult Line. If individuals are experiencing severe respiratory symptoms after hours or can’t wait for a nurse call back they should go to the Emergency Department. We discourage individuals with mild respiratory and cold symptoms from seeking care at the Emergency Department or Express Clinic prior to consulting with the Nurse Consult Line.
Out of an abundance of caution to protect our most medically vulnerable community members, we are discouraging unnecessary visits to the hospital, including the cafeteria until further notice. For our community, preventing the spread of the virus is important and everyone can help. Practice good hand hygiene; stay home from school or work when you feel sick, wash hands often with soap and water and avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
