Stay connected to your care

Our commitment remains to provide this community with the quality care you’ve always trusted.  We have created the safest possible environment of care for our patients.  If you wait to seek timely, routine care, you risk endangering yourself as a result.

Steps to ensure your safety

Every person entering our hospital and clinics is screened for temperature and respiratory illness symptoms.  Universal Masking is in place for all patients, visitors, and employees.  Exam rooms and waiting areas receive extra cleanings and we have created physical distancing between patients when possible.

Get screened for COVID-19 testing

As our county moves through the various stages of recovery, testing is important. If you are sick, please call our Nurse Consult Line to get screened for COVID-19 testing.  Protect your family and protect your community.  360.344.3094

Respiratory Evaluation Station and Drive-Thru COVID Testing

All patients with respiratory illness symptoms are evaluated in our Respiratory Evaluation Station.   Those who just require testing can do so in the confines of their car at the Drive-thru testing.

Telemedicine

Telemedicine visits are currently available with Primary Care Providers and some specialty clinics.  Virtual visits allow us to provide safe, effective, and convenient care through common technologies such as smartphones, tablets and laptops.

Updated visitors policy

The Garden Row Cafe is currently closed to the public and all wellness classes, support group, and Exercise for Health classes have been postponed. Patients may have one support visitor accompany them to appointments if necessary. Hospital patients, who do not have respiratory illness symptoms, may have one visitor per day. Please read the policy for more information.

Message from your Chief Medical Officers

When our state was asked to stay home to help stop the spread of COVID-19, you responded. We could not be more grateful for your actions to protect our community, and for your outpouring of support. Together, our work has flattened the curve resulting in a sustained reduction in COVID-19 cases in our community. Read more…

Syndromic surveillance

Syndromic surveillance is another way that we can look for patterns of disease in our community. The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) use syndromic surveillance to monitor trends in disease, track outbreaks and evaluate how public health interventions are working. Currently, the DOH only looks at data from the Emergency Rooms across Washington State. Jefferson Healthcare is looking at all patients who have come through our hospital and primary care clinics, and are looking for patients with COVID-like illness or pneumonia-like illness. We are using the same definitions as the DOH. We are also watching for trends to see if our community is staying healthy during this pandemic.

We will be using this data to watch for any warning signs that illness is rising in our community. These data will be updated weekly. If you have questions about the data, please contact Amy Yaley at ayaley@jeffersonhealthcare.org

Universal Masking

On May 6th, we adopted universal masking as an important measure to keep our patients and employees safe. All patients, visitors, and employees are asked to mask in patient care areas, public areas, and in situations where 6ft of physical distancing isn’t possible. Patients and visitors are strongly encouraged to bring their own masks but if they don’t have one, a mask will be provided.

Contact Shields

Employee safety is our priority. Our talented Facilities team built contact shields for our registration desks and cafe to provide a barrier for everyone.
