Advanced Directives | Port Ludlow Speaker Series @ Bay Club Port Ludlow

Advance care planning elements and documents include durable powers of attorney for health care, living wills, Physician Order for Life-Sustaining Treatment (POLST), and financial powers of attorney.

–  Who do I want and trust to make medical and financial decisions for me if I am unable?
–  Do I want to be kept comfortable at home or in a hospital at the end of my life?
–  Do I want CPR, a breathing tube, feeding through a tube, dialysis, or antibiotics?
–  How do I envision my last days? What would be ideal?
–  How will my family/friends/loved ones know what I want?

Orthopedic Seminar | Joint Replacement in Port Townsend @ Cotton Building

Orthopedic Seminar

Jefferson Healthcare will host several free orthopedic health seminars focused on the lifecycle of degenerative joint pain and the role joint replacement can play as a safe and reliable option for restoring quality of life. Seminars in Port Ludlow and Port Townsend, hosted by Surgeon Edward Eissmann, MD, FACOS, FRCS and Mitzi Hazard DPT, Director of Cardiopulmonary and Physical Rehabilitation Services and Wellness, will provide an overview of the care supplied by the total joint replacement program at Jefferson Healthcare. Following the presentation, the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions and speak directly with both Eissmann and Hazard.
