Lonely? You Are Not Alone.
Loneliness and isolation were near-universal experiences during the pandemic. However, loneliness was a companion to many of us even before the shutdowns. The curative powers of social bonds are well documented, and Jefferson Healthcare invites you to attend a free seminar entitled “Lonely? You Are Not Alone.” Molly Paker, MD, will review the science of the health effects of isolation and the protective influence of social interactions.
Join Dr. Molly Parker on October 26 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bay Club, 120 Spinnaker Place, Port Ludlow, not merely as attendees but as co-creators as we examine examples of community projects to increase social connections and brainstorm local needs and options.
Dr. Parker received her Master’s in Public Health before attending the University of Washington Medical School. She is a family practice doctor and the Chief Medical Officer of population health at Jefferson Healthcare.
Take advantage of this opportunity to invest in your health and join us for creative inspiration and lively conversation. We look forward to your company.
